A busy three days

What a Joke headed to Towcester yesterday for a very competitive 0-120 novice handicap chase. This was his first start over fences but having schooled very well at home we were looking forward to the challenge. He certainly didn't let us down jumping superbly and was still upsides for the lead 2 fences from home before getting slightly tired, after helping to force a strong pace. It was a very pleasing run and when he is dropped in grade he should be able to get his head in front.

We have 2 runners today with Arthurthedelegator heading up to Newcastle for a 7 furlong nursery. He seems to be improving run to run and hopefully he should have a good chance today. Nathan Evans takes the ride.

Cave Top makes a slightly shorter trip to Uttoxeter for a competitive conditional maiden hurdle. Rob Hawker takes the ride and should give a good account of himself after a pleasing run last time.

We will be staying up north on Friday night for Big Brother George to make his debut over hurdles at Newcastle on Saturday.
