Fantastic End to the 25/26 Season
As the days grow longer and we enjoy this lovely spring weather, it’s a natural time to reflect on the season. Sandown marked the end of the campaign and, although we are slightly down on winners, we are significantly up on prize money, which is ultimately where we want to be. With better quality horses, we can compete at the bigger meetings and give our owners those big-stage experiences.
We’ve also had an exceptional number of placed horses, with over 30% of our runners finishing in the top two throughout the season - a fantastic achievement. With 45 winners and 177 placed second and third, we are extremely proud of both the horses and the entire team at the yard.
We will, of course, continue striving to improve. Over the next couple of months, we’ll be looking at England, Ireland and France for new recruits to further strengthen the yard and build on our success. We finished 17th in the trainers’ table, which Josh and I are very proud of and see as a strong platform for the future.
