Its a very busy day for the yard on Thursday with 5 runners. The day starts at Uttoxeter with 3 runners, First Up will be looking to improve on his fair hurdling debut at Huntingdon where he was badly positioned in a slowly run race. We are hoping he should be more streetwise this time and should be more competitive in the finish.
We then move on to Kikimora who will be having her second start over hurdles in a very strong mid week race, hopefully she can build on her first run of the season. She should be one to look forward to when able to contest handicap races.
Our final runner at Uttoxeter sees Come on Louis go to post in the concluding race on the card. He ran a big race to finish a close 3rd at the track last time and with the step down in trip looking likely to suit he should have a good chance in what is a good race for the grade.
Ian Popham will be aboard all 3 runners at Uttoxeter.
Our attention then moves to the evening meeting at Newcastle where we are represented in both dvisions of the nursery.
In division 1 Partry Flyer will be looking to improve on his more encouraging effort last time where he ran a lot better than the result would suggest. Promising apprentice Jamie Gormley takes the ride.
Our final runner of the day comes in Division 2 where Arty but Poor will be making his handicap debut. He showed his best form on his debut at Wolverhampton when finishing 4th and having been gelded we are hopeful of a good run. Kevin Stott takes the ride.
