After hearing some bad reports about the ground I was pleasantly surprised at how good the ground was and how well they had watered. The racing was poor however with the best race probably coming in the club members race in which Chibuku finished a respectable 3rd and probably didnt stay.
Family Guy and Rydale Lad both won nicely and if placed right should be able to win again this season. Sir Mulberry Hawk was unlucky yet again in the last race, as Sam Allwood got un shipped in front of the cross fence and I had nowhere to go. He jumped violently left and I unfortunately got unseated. It was too early to say if he would have won but it was the first time he has travelled well in a race and was jumping well.
