It was great to see Gris De Pron back up his victory at Hereford on Thursday when winning a competitive race at Market Rasen under a penalty, he is a horse that in the past had been slightly inconsistent but we seem to have found the key to him now and i would like to think he can carry on improving. He was given a beautiful waiting ride by Jake to lead at the last before bravely holding on. He is a scopey sort so should jump a fence in the future and i'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him.
Our next runner of the week was when Quids In went to post for the valuable juvenile handicap on the last day of the jumps season at Sandown, This was his first go in a handicap so it was a big ask but it was great to see him be able to be so competitive in such a good field. He has been a superb horse for us since i purchased him in October and hasn't ran a bad race in 6 starts. We will give him a small wind operation before turning him out for his summer break.
Our final runner under rules of the last week which was Arthurthedelegator who headed up to Beverley yesterday for a highly competitive apprentice race, He ran a massive race to finish 3rd beaten less than half a length. He looks the type to carry on improving as he really thrives on his racing.
