It was a long day yesterday, but I was really pleased with how Sheriff Hutton and Tinkwood ran. Sheriff Hutton ran really well and battled well. but unfortunately got chinned in the dying strides. He will come on for the run and will go to Witton Castle in a couple of weeks. Tinkwood got a bad start as it was a false start but then the starter decided to let us go, and because she was detached on her own it was hard for her to get into the race as she is still quite green. She jumped better and did eventually get into the race but made a mistake three out which didn't help but she ran on to finish a close third. She is fine but will have 3-4 weeks before she runs again and she is sure to win a restricted soon.
