Its a big day for the yard on Saturday with 3 chances across 2 meetings including our first runner in a graded race.
The day gets started in the opening race at Wetherby when Leskinfere will be looking to build on his already promising start to his rules career, he improved plenty from 1st to 2nd run and if he does the same again he should have a chance of reaching the frame.
First Up is set to make his handicap debut at 1:40, his most promising run over hurdles was his last start over timber when finishing 2nd at Market Rasen when there was plenty of juice in the ground which gives us optimism for tomorrow and he looks well in on his flat form. We expect him to be very competitive of this handicap mark when you count the allowance he receives and believe he will go close .
Ian Popham rides them both.
Attentions then move to Warwick where Cave Top is set to be our first graded runner in the Grade 2 Leamington novice hurdle. He is improving all the time and having won his last 2 cosily we feel it is worth a crack on ground that should suit. He is in very good order at home and Dave England knows the horse well and takes the ride.
