Aintree was a definite highlight of the season. Just having a runner in The Grand National is another level and Iroko behaved impeccably and is such a special horse. He is so straightforward and just gets on with the job in hand which makes our lives much easier.
The build-up was stressful at times but also a fantastic experience and gave the yard some great publicity. We have not had a longterm target in mind for a horse like this before, so for Josh and the team to get him to peak on the day was a great achievement.
