Miss Lucky Penny x Gentlewave 4yr Bay Gelding
This lovely big horse came to us in the Autumn having been broken on and pre trained.
He instantly settled in and was so straightforward and loved his work. Like so many horses by his sire Gentlewaves, Bravethewave is extremely laid back and easy to train, he eats well and goes about his work with no issues.
He has been away to the racecourse to work and done plenty here on the gallops and grass. He shows plenty of ability and the potential to be decent horse in the future.
With him having only just turned four we have taken our time with him and plan to run him in a couple of Bumpers this season. We are aiming for April 18th at Bangor for his first outing. He will then have six weeks in the field for the summer before coming back into training with the aim being to run in October over hurdles. He would then stay over hurdles for the 21/22 season before going Novice Chasing the following season.
We really like the horse and he will be a lovely one to get involved with and to be involved in the journey as he develops and improves as he grows up and matures.
Bravethewaves is by the very popular sire in Gentlewave who has, amongst many others, two top horses in Easysland and Gentleman’s Game. They both look to be going right to the top.
He stands at the local Yorton Stud and he throws very honest and straightforward types which makes our job so much easier.
We are going to create a 10 share syndicate for Bravethewaves as follows:
