Cave Top headed up to Catterick on New Years Day for a competitive novice hurdle and travelled very powerfully before getting tired over a trip further than he had tried before. It was still a promising run to finish 3rd behind two previous winners and he looks the sort who will only improve with time.
Rock Warbler heads up to Newcastle on Wednesday for the 1 Mile handicap, this represents a drop in class from last time and back at his favourite track he should put up a big showing.
