As the evenings begin to shorten and the proper National Hunt season approaches, the yard is in full swing. Our summer jumpers and flat horses remain in work, while the winter horses are building up towards their seasonal debuts.
Since our last update, we enjoyed a short mid-summer break, though an outbreak of Strangles briefly interrupted proceedings. Fortunately, only three horses on their holidays were affected, and whilst it did stop a few runners on the last day before the break, most of the racing plans remained on course. Since the restart after the racing break, the horses have been in fantastic form.
