Spirit of the Vale will be looking to bounce back from a slightly disappointing effort last time when heading to Newcastle on Tuesday. Last week she was too keen early over a trip slightly further than she had form over and then got no luck in running when trying to make headway 3 furlongs from home. She will be suited by the return to 10 furlongs and with the tongue tie refitted we are hopeful of a good run. Kevin Stott takes the ride.
