Spirit of the Vale will hopefully head to Haydock on Thursday in her bid to get a victory under her belt on the Turf. It has been the Salmon familys dream to get a win in to her on both the All Weather and the turf and it is just the latter we are now waiting on! She ran a career best last time when an unlucky 2nd at Beverley and we are hoping for another good effort from the ultra consistent filly. It is great that it is an amateur riders race so Ed Glassonbury who knows the filly so well from home can take the ride. We have also got her on at Newcastle on Friday so if the ground does go too soft for her at Haydock she can reroute up north.
