Our Crusade has come out of his race at Sheriff Hutton well and we were extremely pleased with his performance finishing a very close third in a competitive maiden. The plan is to go to North Carlton on February 2nd.
We have just schooled this weekends runners over the fences as well as The Mexican Bandit who we are taking down to school after racing will be ridden by Andrew Glassonbury. He will hopefully run in 3 -4 weeks so this will be a good education for him and give us an indication of his ability. A couple of them were a little rusty first time up but after that were winging up the fences so I was pleased we gave them a final pop.
