We have 4 runners on Saturday, 2 at our local track Bangor on Dee and 2 at Newcastle's fighting fifth meeting.
Our day gets under way in the novice handicap chase at 1:35 at Newcastle where Late Romantic will be making his chase debut under rules. He was a dual winning pointer last year winning easily on both occasions before being unlucky at Uttoxeter. This is obviously a step up in grade for him but hopefully he will be suited by the track and any more rain the track receives will be a help.
We are then doubly represented in the 2:00 at Bangor where both Mid Day Gun and Twotwothree will be looking to build on their form so far this year but once again this looks a very hot race and I'm sure they will be more competitive once allowed to contest in handicaps.
Arctic Road also makes the trip up to Newcastle for the Novices hurdle at 2:40, he showed a glimpse of promise on his debut under rules at Uttoxeter and hopefully he can build on that tomorrow. Will Kennedy rides both him and Late Romantic and knows them both from home.
