With two runners at Chipley Park on Saturday and four at Brocklesbury the following day,it was certainly a busy weekend for both the team and the horsebox (700+ miles).
On Saturday both Skybull (5th) and Sporting Music (4th) put in promising runs and both will come on for the run and find less competitive races in the forthcoming weeks.
Sunday saw us head off to Brocklesbury Park,Lincolnshire,where Journeyman finished a promising sixth,which he will improve on when he learns to settle.
Arthur's Gentleman made his racecourse debut,jumping and travelling well before pulling up 3/4 mile from home.
Cool Friend was a little dissapointing,never really at the races and we would hope to see a different horse next time.
The weekends sixth and final runner saw the yard register its first win of the season when Threapwood won the concluding race on the card,a very competitive Restricted.
All in all a very satisfying weekend taht sets us up well for the weeks ahead.
