All the older horses are out in the field enjoying themselves now, which gives us a chance to clean and disinfect all the stables and give them a lick of paint to freshen them up, fix all the tack and rugs, and just generally get ready for next season.
I have got 6 three and four year old's in that are now cantering and doing some schooling daily, they are a sensible bunch and very enjoyable to work with, to see them progress so fast each day is hugely satisfying. I will problably give them 2-3 weeks break in August but then crack on again so that they are ready to run in point to points at the beginning of the season.
